About the event

Join us for a peaceful beginner-friendly evening paddle through the floodplain forests and freshwater tidal marshes of the Coginchaug River in Middletown, Connecticut. We’ll begin at the 1,000-acre Floating Meadows—where the Coginchaug and Mattabesset Rivers meet—and head upstream into one of the most ecologically vibrant areas in the state. As we glide past silver maples, sycamores, and cottonwoods, keep an eye out for beavers, muskrats, turtles, herons, and swallows. We’ll pause to watch the moonrise and the sunset then paddle back under the moonlight—a magical way to end the day on the water.

Kayaks, Paddles, PFDs, and educational materials will be provided. Address will be provided in the confirmation email.

Spots are limited. Register soon for early bird pricing.
