Golden Hour Eelgrass and Salt Marsh Ecology Tour

Glide through the winding creeks of the Great Island Wildlife Area on a intermediate tour of this vibrant salt marsh, mudflats, and subtidal eelgrass ecosystem. In the golden hour light, we will watch for the elegant white plumes of great egrets and the steady silhouettes of hunting ospreys soaring above the shallow bays. Accompanied by the rich biodiversity of the lower Connecticut River estuary, this peaceful paddle offers a front-row seat to the hidden marine nursery and coastal wildlife of this protected sanctuary. All equipment included, intermediate tour.
