Morning in a Salt Marsh

Glide through the winding creeks of the East River Marsh Wildlife Area on a intermediate morning tour of this vibrant salt marsh and coastal ecosystem. As the sun brightens the landscape, we will watch for the elegant white plumes of great egrets and the steady silhouettes of hunting ospreys soaring above the shallow waters. Accompanied by the rich biodiversity of this protected tidal wetland, this peaceful paddle offers a front-row seat to the hidden marine nursery and coastal wildlife of Guilford's beautiful sanctuary.

All equipment is included. This is an intermediate tour. You should have some experience and feel comfortable in a kayak. Feel free to call if you have questions or concerns.

Pricing: $85 + tax for Wanderlust to provide equipment: Wilderness Systems Pungo 120 kayak, Onyx PFD, 230 cm paddle, dry bag, and cell phone pouch or $45 + tax to bring your own kayak, life jacket, and paddle. Your kayak must be suitable for tidal rivers - hard plastic and at least 10 feet long.
