About the event
Glide through the winding creeks of the East River Marsh Wildlife Area on a intermediate morning tour of this vibrant salt marsh and coastal ecosystem. As the sun brightens the landscape, we will watch for the elegant white plumes of great egrets and the steady silhouettes of hunting ospreys soaring above the shallow waters. Accompanied by the rich biodiversity of this protected tidal wetland, this peaceful paddle offers a front-row seat to the hidden marine nursery and coastal wildlife of Guilford's beautiful sanctuary.
If you choose the BYO Kayak option, your kayak must be equivalent to, or better than, our Wilderness Systems Pungo 120 kayaks. Otherwise, please choose the all equipment included option.
