Come enjoy a relaxed, guided kayaking trip designed for beginners and nature lovers alike. We’ll paddle the Mattabesset river at an easy pace, taking in the brilliant colors of fall reflected in the water. Along the way, you’ll see the fiery reds of silky dogwood, winterberry, Virginia creeper, red, silver, and sugar maples; golden yellows from catalpas, shagbark hickories, and sycamore trees glowing against the oranges of buttonbush and wild grape. This peaceful paddle is the perfect way to celebrate the season and connect with nature from the water’s edge.
Please note that you will need to step into the river to get into your kayak. Wear shoes that can get wet. All equipment included. Beginner friendly, minimum physical requirements required to be able to paddle and enter and exit a sit-inside kayak.
